Spelling Bee
Posted by admin on March 12th, 2007
Description:
This is a game that will test the spelling ability of the team (80-100+ People)
Time:
15-20 min
Material:
-Plastic cardboard (future Board, that plastic stuff that is made up the same way a cardboard)
-Paint
-Knowledge of the English dictionary, or someone who is really good at Scrabble
Objective:
Spell your word the fastest to get the points.
How to play:
Give the letters to the campers and as the leader calls out words the campers need to line up in front of their team with the right letters and spell the words. The first team to finish the word right gets the points. So figure out the amount and what letters you want, and paint them on the future board, 1 letter one piece of future board about 1-1.5 feet wide by 1.5-2 feet tall.
Two web sites to help. They max out at 30 letters

This link gave my way more results. It was hit and miss and a little slow, but way better.
