Mission Impossible
Posted by admin on March 12th, 2007

Description:
This is a spy game for the campers (80-100+ People)
Time:
1 hour - 1.5 Hours
Material:
-Field
-A truck
-A very powerful flashlight
-”Spy” Counselors
-Various obstacles (Tables, Hay bails, buildings, anything to hide behind)
-Tickets
-Sharpie Markers
Objective:
Get to the enemy base and get a ticket and get back to your home base without getting caught
How to play:
First you need to set up your field. You can make as easy or as hard as you want with the obstacles. The game is you the leader vs the campers. You are in the bed of the truck with your flashlight trying to spot the campers. The campers are trying to sneak up on the truck and get a ticket from a person in front of the truck. If you spot the camper they must come up to the truck and get a permanent marker tick on the back of their hands. Decide how many ticks they can have before they are out of the game (usually it is about 7-8 ticks). After they get a tick they need to go back to there home base and try again. If a camper gets to the truck and touches it without you catching them they get a ticket. As long as they are touching the truck you can not catch them. As soon as they leave the truck it is fair game. If you catch them as they are leaving they come back, give the ticket back and get a mark on their hands. You also have counselor spies. If a counselor spy catches a camper, they take them to a jail that is off to the side somewhere and they need to sit there till the jail tender says they can leave. If they had a ticket the counselor takes that as well. it is fully up to the jail tender to decide how long they say. On the way out they get a tick on their hand.
Variation:
The counselors carry sharpies as well. When they catch a camper they put a tick on his hand. The camper then has to return to the start to have the tick crossed off by another counselor. Campers with a single line that is not crossed off cannot pick up a ticket or turn in a ticket. In this version there is no jail.
Rules:
-Be honest
NOTE: make sure the counselors are roaming around a lot as campers like to use this opportunity to sneak off with members of the opposite sex.
