Kick Ball
Posted by admin on March 12th, 2007

Description:
This is a version of baseball using players feet (30-100+ people)
Time:
1-1.5 Hours
Material:
- Field
- 1 4 square ball (soft rubber ball)
- 2 bases (optional 4 bases)
Objective:
Get the most home runs
How to play:
Split the group into 2 teams. Each team needs a back catcher, pitcher, and people in the field. Put one base as home base and the other straight out about 30 feet away in the middle of the field. Put one team to “bat” and the other in the field. The team to “bat” needs to make a line off to the side, the team in the field goes to their positions.
The pitcher rolls the ball to the kicker. The kicker kicks the ball and then needs to run to the base and back home before the team in the outfield gets the ball and hits you with it. Every player that gets to the base and back home will get 1 point for their team. After three outs switch the teams and keep going for about 5-7 innings.
Variation:
-Instead of hitting them with the ball you can tag them
-You can have all 4 bases and just play base ball with your feet
-You run to the base then home or when the next player or when you think that it is safe you can run home. Just if you are on the base you need to have your foot on it and if you leave you can not run back
Rules:
-If a fly ball it caught the player is out
-If a player is hit with the ball they are out
-You can not stop on the base you must go home (unless you change the rule)
